Funded PhD positions:

I am offering a fully funded PhD position on Trustworthy Generative AI in Healthcare, co-supervised with Yali Du. The studentship runs for 3 years and covers tuition fees at the home or international rate plus a stipend at the UKRI London rate, for a 1 February, 1 June or 1 October 2027 start. The deadline is 30 September 2026.

I am also offering a funded PhD position on Diffusion/LLM Powered Generative AI with Healthcare Applications, co-supervised with Ayan Das, for a 1 February 2027 start. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis, so please apply early. The deadline is 31 October 2026.

Our research group is interested in developing fundamental methodologies in trustworthy AI, statistical signal processing, and multimodal machine learning, as well as translational work to address real-world, interdisciplinary applications in healthcare and environmental sciences.
